What is a qr code?

"QR codes or Quick Response codes are two-dimensional barcodes that were used initially by automakers in Japan. Workers used QR codes to track vehicles during the manufacturing process."  You've probably seen a QR code out in public, on a billboard, in a magazine, on a product, even if you've never used one.

How do I scan the QR code?

To scan a QR code, you need a smartphone with a camera and, in some cases, a mobile app. An iPhone running iOS 11 (or later) comes with a built-in QR reader in its camera, and some Android phones also have native functionality. Other smartphones may require that you download a mobile app.  For more on scanning QR codes, go here.

I scanned the code but my location is not updating on the map.

If you have an iPhone, be sure you have turned on Location Services.  If you have an Android device, go here.  Your exact location may not be determined depending on a number of factors.
