In the last few years, there have been a number of milestones in running the Head Project and in an effort to recognize those contributors who were the very first to do something as well as to inspire future contributors to think outside the box, we've created the HEAD FIRST AWARDS!

"Futuristika is a Khalkedon-Istanbul based magazine dedicated to art in all of its various forms. We try to promote work from established and emerging artists. Although we draw no lines and make no distinctions, we prefer the work to be unique, interesting. We simply love art, in a way of non-snob, but minimal aspect."

"The Head Project is a work of worldwide collaborative fiction. It is an ongoing experiment in social behavior, perception and creativity. It is an attempt to document the journey of seemingly inanimate objects as well as the lives of the artists and individuals involved through the use of photographs, videos, blogs or any other form of creative media. It is a testament to the power of the human spirit and the drive to connect with others on a global scale through the creative process... and it's a little bit silly."
